Analyzing Evaluations

Evaluations and feedback from the workshop can come in many forms: handwritten on evaluations forms, verbal during conversations or the de-briefing, or electronically through a web form or social media comment. Caw recommends having at least one person responsible for collecting evaluations. The Evaluation Coordinator should:

  • Ensure that all participants fill out an evaluation of the workshop before leaving for the day.
  • Enter evaluations and feedback into a central location or document. Collaborative tools, like Google Forms, have been very helpful in the past.
  • Summarize evaluation responses and share with the rest of the planning committee – either in person post-workshop or via email. This analysis may also be relevant to the partner.
