2026 Anchorage

Date: Friday, June 1, 2026 (10 AM- 4 PM AKST)
Location: Athabascan Ceremonial House at the Alaska Native Heritage Center, Anchorage, Alaska

The Alaska Native Heritage Center is hosting a Community Archiving Workshop! This is a one-day event that centers community building & collections care. It brings together archivists & community volunteers to support the inspection and inventory of an audiovisual collection. Participants will get hands-on training that they can use to address the challenges of their own collections. The workshop can be applied to all material types, including mixed media & digital collections.
